Recovery Coaching and Professionalism TOT Program

Thursday and Friday, September 14-15, 2017

CT Non Profit Center, Hartford, CT

4:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

(immediately following the core training program)

You must sign up for both the Recovery Coaching and Professionalism to attend the TOT program for this curriculum.

The Center for Addiction Recovery Training (CART) is pleased to bring a new (and much needed!) training program for Recovery Coaches who may find themselves providing recovery support services in a variety of professional settings such as emergency rooms, court systems, treatment centers and others.. More than ever Recovery Coaches are being asked to provide services in settings that value and welcome their unique perspective. Recovery Coaching and Professionalism, a 12-hour curriculum, will prepare coaches in 10 characteristics commonly associated with professionalism: accountability, appearance, etiquette, organizational skills, communication, ethics and boundaries, reliability, demeanor, maintaining poise, and competence.

Participants who complete this TOT Program will be recognized by CART as authorized trainers of this curriculum and can then purchase manuals from CART in order to train others back in their home state.  More details on trainer responsibilities and logistics will be discussed at the training.
