Within Connecticut there are a few options to help pay for CCAR Training. Please read through the sections below to see of any of these options pertain to you. As a non-profit agency, CCAR is not able to waive fees but would encourage you to seek out the resources below, if you need help to pay for your training.
The services offered at our recovery community centers are made possible, in part, by the dedication of our volunteers. To show our appreciation and support their growth, we've established a scholarship program for eligible volunteers to attend select CCAR training programs once specific qualifications are met. To learn more about this initiative or if you are interested in volunteering at one of CCAR's Recovery Community Centers, we invite you to get in touch with the center closest to you. Arrange an appointment with our volunteer manager to explore the possibilities further. Your involvement can make a meaningful difference in our community.

In Connecticut, funding may be available to complete CCAR Training through the Department of Labor and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). If you are already receiving services through the Department of Labor, this funding can be accessed through your case manager.
If you are not yet enrolled in a program through the Department of Labor, you can reach out to your nearest Regional Workforce Development Board to see if you qualify

The Connecticut Office of Rural Health (CT-ORH), together with the Litchfield County Opiate Task Force (LCOTF), is pleased to offer a scholarship to train Recovery Coaches through CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy. LCOTF’s Professional Support and Development Committee is now accepting applications on a rolling basis. You must work or live in Litchfield County to qualify.
